Picked up a pair while stationed in Okinawa, and loved them.
Couldn't wear them during PT, at least not when the gunny was around, though I'd wear them whenever not in uniform.
Also, they don't look stupid at first glance, unless people look close they don't notice the split toe.
I've gotta talk to a buddy over there and see if he can bring back a couple pairs on his next leave. It'd cost me like $60 a pair to get them shipped here, where I could buy them for about $20 a pair over there.
