I've been observing /out/ since the beginning and I think I've noticed a trend.

Is /out/ on an opposite wave-length from 4chan? Does it actually get worse the away summer gets?

Do sc/out/s get grouchy and trollish in the fall/winter?

I'm surprised more people on /out/ don't snowshoe. It's a good way to get /out/ in the winter and it's way cheaper than skiing or snowboarding.

Personally i dont get cranky during winter. i just get depressed and i drink more and more. until it starts snowing, then childlike wonder takes over, but gods help me if its another snowless winter.
cant speak much for the overall quality of posts as i dont pay close enough attention to form a solid opinon on this. but i will agree that on a good dat /out/ has alot of helpful people with good advice willing to not shit on people asking questions.

no picture related so il just attach a picture of my favourite place in the whole wide world. i may be lucky enough to visit during winter this year. i hope to one day see the lake frozen over

It's safe to say that you're actually retarded if you think post quality changes with season. You have to be on some next level shit to not realize that children are able to post on 4chan the entire year. Not only does school get out around 2-3 PM, but thanks to how commonplace smartphones have become, there's a good chance that many of them post here during the morning as well.

Even Jewt has said there isn't really any significant chance between seasons. The same people still post in the same volume. In fact, the only unique shitposting in the summer is due to idiots spamming "summerfag" every 2 seconds when they see something that they don't like.

Me too. I'm in Utah for the ski season and I hope we get good snow.

My brother-in-law is a hydrologist with the BLM so he gets all the seasonal NOAA reports. Apparently for the West/Southwest it's 30/30/40 chance of above average/average/below average.
