I've never really been proper camping, and not sure how campsite work exactly.

But I was wondering, do campsites have place to secure your luggage? What happens if you want to set up your tent then go to the local pub for dinner? How do you not get your stuff stolen?

Curious because I would like to go cycle touring in the future and was just wondering how I would secure my luggage, even when just going to the toilet or shower.
