If I'm hiking all my friends drink bourbon (ky thing), but I'm a beer drinker, so most every weekend I load up the atv with a 30 pack and hit the hills with around 5 of my buddies. Always run into people doing the same. Get real wild then build a fire and cook some elegant wilderness meal to get sobered up, then head on in or stretch a tarp out and go to bed.

Had this laying around.

I like these small plastic bottles, they're light, and can be burnt up in the fire if need be.

Also enjoy Jim Beam Honey, or regular Jim Beam.

I have a flask shaped like a trout that I use. It's pretty amazing.

Not bad sc/out/, not bad at all.

I prefer a nice peaty Islay malt.
My flask usually has some Ardbeg, Talisker, Lagavulin, or Laphroaig.

I don't have a pic of my flask, but here is basic malt being used as a ruler.

I tend to bring a smaller flask filled with either a nice single malt(Laphroaig 12y is a good one) or a good Rum, and a larger bottle of 151-proof Everclear.

The fine spirit is for enjoying, and the everclear is a sleep aid, firestarter and disinfectant all in one

I had that same exact flask and it lost the gasket pretty quickly, not a tight fit at all. Also, the plastic hinge broke, but I still continued to use it after that.

I didn't end up keeping it because it was pretty low quality.

Only downside is they taste even worse than raw tylenol so you gotta drink it down right quick

I have a pretty nice engraved metal one that i got a groomsmen gift, but its pretty heavy, and i cant tell how much im drinking. I got a cheap plastic one from REI but i felt like i could taste plastic, and whatever else was in it before.

So i just go to the liquor store and buy a couple of something similar to those.

I have noticed more and more that the big brands just make miniature glass replicas of their full sizes bottles though, which kind of defeats the purpose for me. So i might have to figure something else out.
