putting a top of the commercial line knife in a bag is just retarded to me unless you are literally so rich it makes no difference to you that it's a kitchen knife or an esee.
if you said you bought the bear grylls ultimate pro (which is a waste of good money for me) for a bag that's a slightly different story cause those are more of a compact survival oriented kit in themselves than knives (and could provide redundancy in a compact form) and while they would be not that good for a heavy lifelong use of outdoorsy stuff, in a survival situation a blade is a blade especially when you can sharpen it so easy (even if you are a retard or never sharpened anything ever).
tldr don't make a good knife into a bag knife. good knives should be used, bag knife is a backup.
