Hey /out/, Amerifag here, it's been a while.

I decided to go hiking today at a local county park that I had never been to before. When I had arrived at the entrance, there was a $2 fee to enter the park. Is this justified? I mean, I can understand paying an extra fee for a nice, clean park that is loaded with trails, good sights, and a campground; but what are taxes for?
