>>642294>>642329My experience with this pack hasn't been great, although I don't know if you two have the same thoughts as I do.
I feel like the brain of the pack is awkward when stuffed and I'm always hitting it with the back of my head. Lowering the brain with its straps make it sit awkwardly low towards the rear. I severely dislike how the webbed pouch on the rear exterior is a pain to get into when the pack is fully stuff, it becomes too taught to store anything inside except for maps I've found. And the amount of compression straps on the outside drive me up the wall, they're always getting in the way and hanging around and I never use them. Finally, I dislike the pouches on the sides of the packs, they're alright for holding tent stakes or some other tall skinny object, but for holding water bottles, they're atrocious, and the lower opening they have is nearly inaccessible with the pack on and also incompatible with the taller 1.5 liter nalgenes.
Sorry for the rant. Otherwise, the pack does fit me very well and distributes weight well, I just hate actually doing anything with it besides wearing it. Also it stands up when you set it down without falling over...personal pref I appreciate.
