Honestly, I did extensive research before buying it and it was about the perfect fit for what I wanted. There are things I would change to improve it but they are minor.
I was skeptical like you and still am for most multitool models, but the design of the charge (and the wave) is I think the best design ever up to this point.
If you're willing to spend that you won't regret it but you dont need to get the top of the line.
I also strongly recommend the Squirt P4 and the Juice.
