it's a stewardship issue.
you kept your head about you and managed your fires well. but you saw so many people- when they see evidence of a fire, they feel they can have fires too. do you think all of them can be firesafe? is it sustainable for all of them to build fires as well? what happens when dills start denuding the woods for their bonfire wood?
if you care about the land sometimes it means NOT doing fire even if you know you can handle it. think of it as hardmode and enjoy the challenge.
