Hey /out/, I'm looking at getting some trail runners for summer, I'm going to be going interrailling and to Thailand for a while, I also go on hikes regularly, currently using some mid weight Scarpa boots, but I want something lighter for summer.

Just looking for some advice as I am completely new to trail shoes.

Not sure whether waterproof or non waterproof would be better.
