Because it's full of ice and snow, and I have a hang over. Seriously looking forward to snow melting. Since it was too cold for camping to be fun, we simply scouted sites all winter, and now have tons that we want to go visit.

It's already getting hot here, though I don't get out much, I would still prefer cold to heat. I have trouble sleeping when it gets too hot.

Spoken like a true person who has never camped or been outdoors in New England during January.

Imagine doing everything in a few feet of snow. Walking without snowshoes becomes a chore, making fire becomes a chore, clearing ground for a shelter becomes a chore. EVERYTHING becomes a chore. Oh, and it can get brutally cold, that too.

Well, I've never been outside the Carolinas, I've never had snow that deep. Worst we had was some blizzard over ten years ago that dumped like a foot of snow on us. Most we usually get is 2~3 inches maybe once or twice a year.
