>>670049>frozen rainI hate that shit. Everything is like covered in clear ultra thin ice. You can't get traction on ANYTHING.
>>670280It isn't like that at all. Take a frozen lake for instance. You think, "shit I can walk on ice that's easy" and you'd be correct. Walking on lake ice, puddle ice, etc is easy. Why? Because it is perfectly flat.
Then you try to walk on slanted ice, like a frozen street. No matter what you do, you slide downhill. You have to get traction with something like metal cleats, but they are shit for ultra thin ice like that and you end up skating on metal hard surfaces with them. So, it is better to have skates.
>>670274>YaktraxYes, that's the best thing, it still fucking sux though, unless you carry a bag of sand, cinder, and salt around with you to toss everywhere you place your feet. Thankfully, that type of ice is rather uncommon.
>>670050Dallas, Texas when it rains is dangerous as fuck. People literally can not drive. They do everything the exact same way they drive when it is dry. They stop at the last second and slide all over the place.
