Does anyone here live in northeastern Nevada? Specially north of Ruby Valley near Spruce Mountain.

Have you ever explored the ghost towns and mines there?

If so. I need to see if the story in pic related checks out. Has anyone seen a tree fallen across a road and a canyon like described?

I live in this area...and I hunted about 40 miles further south than this place...it's pretty remote, and I haven't been in that specific area, but there's pretty big holes in this story. Even in the desert there's tons of landmarks a person would use to describe where they were, besides general highway names...typically you could refer to a ghost town, or historic marker, or a ranch...in this case there's a good chance whatever road he turned on was named after whatever canyon it led into....and our pine trees don't grow 2 foot wide trunks unless your way way the hell up in the mountains...like over 8000 feet.
