How much does your rifle weigh in at with those quad rails?
It's a kelty red cloud 90.
I'm hoping I didn't go too big. I wanted something I could use for 3-5 day trips.
I used my rush 12 (12 hour pack lol) for a few 2.5 -3 day hikes and while I got everything I needed the lack of nice suspension + frame wasn't all too fun and if I wanted to carry more I would be SOL
I would have my tarp, hammock, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad all on the outside
Inside was my filter, cookware, food, 2 32 ounce Gatorade bottles, and either a base layer change of clothes or an extra layer for insulation depending on Temps
I had no room for much else and that wasn't terrible but I would like the option for more (maybe some ammo, extra water for when I can't find any, fun bushcraft gear like my carving knives ya know? And keep more gear inside for some dirt/water protection) What size pack is that and how long could you comfortably sustain yourself out of it? What do you typically have to carry for where you go? It doesn't get super cold (lowest that isn't abnormal is 10 ish but very rarely we dip lower l) so cold weather gear isn't a huge concern
