Greetings fellow /out/siders, I've just been hired into a conservation crew in northern New Mexico. I'll be camping 16 days out of the month for 6 months in various areas of the nationals parks, mostly in Carson National Forest. We have a basic pack list of all the essentials you'd expect. Im interested in acquiring some personal gear that would make my stay more comfortable and efficient. The types of work will be anything from coyote fences to clearing brush and certain trees, but all is subject to change. Now I do have all the basics, I got a cruddy cheap knife, some work gloves, boots, tarp, etc. But am curious what y'all might bring and what are your favorite or necessary tools/equipment that would be loved and useful on the mountain and in the forests. Also any advice or words of good tiding would be most appreciated from my brothers in /out/. Thanks
