I have two down jackets that I can't decide to take with me for snow camping later this month.
Some columbia jacket, it has a lot of loft to it.
OR transcendent jacket, it fits me much better it has a hood and longer hem so it doesn't expose my back when bending over. It also fits my waist and neck better. But it has about half the insulation than the columbia jacket I have.
Both fit good over my baselayers and under a shell.
I am going to learn how to make my own snow shelter (covered trench) and then sleep in it.
Which should I take with me so I don't die?
