I like the methods, but the extreme mindset leaves something to be desired.

We've done edible landscaping, companion planting, square foot / raised bed gardening, free range critters, bees, walipini, aquaponics, etc, and never had to crap on "Big Ag" or change my jungles for birkenstocks once.

Worth learning if you can filter the poo.

Few do anything beyond a typical no till poly culture garden and herb spiral.

Just find agroforestry and read Brad Lancaster's books, if it is permaculture directly be aware that they just take material from others and add flowery language to make it seem different.
