>>693841My best friend EDCs a spyderco paramilitary 2 and it's a fantastic knife. He uses it quite a bit and the wide belly is great for opening boxes and shit (he's a mechanic so there's quite a bit of that) among some heavier use.
I've got a benchmade emissary as my EDC. It was my first "nice" knife and though I really like the assist my next edc will be a manual. Great for my job though. I keep the blade sharp and I can cut 1/2" rope with ease and the assist is good when I'm climbing at work and need it real quick. Been really happy with it though; I'm not sure how they are new but I assume this one needs a tune up.

I don't take either innawoods but my friend has some fixed blades we take out (I'm pretty new to this stuff)
