Hi /out/, I'm visiting from /k/.

I'm planning on taking a road trip with my dog down the east coast US sometime in March or April. I'd like to hike every day, more or less. I'm in New England now, so I'll probably make it to VA or KY, then turn around.

I want to camp out as much as possible, but the difficulty is that since it's only my dog, my car, and me, I'll eventually have to end up back where I parked my car. I have a good pack, tent, sleeping bag, water filter, and the other essentials.

Does anyone in the area I mentioned have recommendations for some really good hiking along the way? I'd like to know some places I should hit, and some places I could camp.
