What do you guys think of U.S. Woodland camo? Pic related. I've found a bunch of new ( still in original packaging ) U.S. issue products with this pattern and I'm thinking of giving some of it a buy.

I like it. It may not be as good for actual concealment as multimeme, but it looks cool and is classic as fuck. And really camo is just for looks for guys like us. I need to get some woodland pants.

Thanks but I'm actually not talking about it as a fashion statement. True, it is good looking I'll admit but I am hoping to use this to conceal myself during events such as Paintball or bow hunting.

Woodland is awesome.

You should check out the RU woodland designs they are pretty nifty.

What gear do you have?

P.s. DCU Night is the best.

There are 'surp threads on /k/ if this stuff interests you check it out. But warning its an expensive addiction, and pointless unless you use your gear.

Anyways its my favorite pattern, and it works well at night for hunting, cozy and dark.

What top is that? Neither those garments look US issue. That top is cool as fuck though.

Desert Night wasn't meant to be worn full time, its also meant as a cover layer, to be worn over a DCU.

You guys should peep the threads on /k/ lots of good info on patterns, some /fa/ thrown in there and sometimes funs.

I honestly don't think any camo will work well during a paintball game. There's no way you'll be far enough not to be seen, no matter what you're wearing.
To hunt though, I think Woodland may be effective (just like the french camo Centre Europe) because of the patern, but I think hunters tend to prefer these ultra realistic patterns.

I disagree, but not because I think it actually camouflages you. If you went paintballing in a Hawaiian shirt, it would set you apart from everyone else, setting psychological triggers in motion. Kind of like how zebras aren't really camouflaged in their environment, but are camouflaged within their herd. The purple zebra would get picked off immediately by the lion.

If you are in Canada wearing militaria, be careful. They have laws against it.

I love fleck, putting anything but a GER flag on it is sac. Keep issued insignia on it. A few other countries issued fleck, or have a version of it.

Yep. Some sort of Stolen Valor law, there is often discussion about it on the /k/ milsurp threads, it's what makes cadpat so rare, and buying/selling militaria in Canada dicey.

The law has to do with military gear, not necessarily cadpat. If you are caught wearing any part of an armed forces uniform there are repercussions, but wearing some Chinese made t-shirt or overcoat won't land you in any trouble.
