Yet another gear thread.

This one: packs. (specifically, Arc'teryx Altra 50)

For the past two years I've been backpacking around the states (riding freight, hitching where the freights don't go), camping out every night, etc. Recently came into about 18k, so I'm going overseas. Now, I need a new pack, my REI flash 62 is getting pretty worn out, and I don't like it enough to warranty it. I'm looking at pic related for 4 season use (I'm obviously going to be traveling with the fair weather, and for what I've used in the states, 50l is plenty) and I'd like to hear anyone opinions on Arc'teryx packs. I've got their Atom LV (or maybe SV, it's the lighter weight one) and I absolutely love it, and have heard a lot of good things about the company.

tl;dr does this pack uphold the companies reputation for excellence?

Also, for those concerned, I usually don't carry more then one or two days worth of food. I'm never THAT far from society when I'm hitching.
