Good morning Sc/out/s
As some of you may know, the Spring 4chan Cup is currently taking place. For those of you who do not know what the 4chan Cup Is:
"The 4chan Champion's Cup is the official football (or soccer in uncivilized countries) tournament of 4chan. Contested by 48 teams, it operates on two series, with two Cup titles offered in each series in a year. The Cup Series plays Summer and Winter seasons and is the primary series of the Champion's Cup, while the Babby Series plays in Spring and Autumn and is the secondary series of the Cup.
The Champion's Cup has been run by the 4chan Cup Committee since its inception. Matches are run by GermanBro on Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 and are streamed on the website
twitch.tv . Many of the Cup commentators are on the Cup Committee, and are hated and loved equally"
I am looking to start a team for /out/ and I wanted to talk to you guys about player name Ideas, uniforms and a team logo.

The remaining 10% included CIT's and others who hadn't yet managed to burn themselves out on scouting.
>In other words, if you don't successfully indoctrinate people, you get folks that continue contributing to the troop instead of circlejerking at a lodge? 1. Lodges don't physically exist outside of tribes which purposefully break certain rules to have a different program. (i.e. Tribe of Mic-O-Say) Lodge's are organizations, like congregations, not buildings.
According to the silly video they show you at your troop elections, the OA exists to aid the troop. This is a load of shit beyond the chapter level. Only arrowmen who never expand beyond the chapter legitimately stay concerned with their troop. This includes arrowmen who sash and dash, simply choose not to get strongly involved, or those that hold things against the lodge. Beyond the chapter, the OA is an honors organization. We provide service to the council at the lodge level. If you go even higher, you get to the sectional level, which provides service to the lodges. IF you go even higher, you get to national, who provides service to everyone, including the troops. The OA at the small and local level is the sappy service organization you're promised in the out-dated video. The OA at any higher level than that actually does what the OA is designed to do, be an honor's organization that gives back to the whole council and not just specific troops.

>The logo, the names, and the songs matter the most because they're what fucking defines the team. The best tactics in the world mean nothing, you can pull an /m/ and drop like a rock in one cup. The heart and soul of the team is in the real shit, the stuff people put effort into and make good. Yes, because the fact /m/'s team flopped so hard wasn't because they lost their games (Assuming I'm knowing which cup you're talking about), but instead the fact they couldn't keep their own fans interested in the game.

Prizing the troop is only something those that only know the troop do. Have you gone to a scouting event by yourself? Tell you what, the "I love my troop!" mentatility goes out the window faster than fuck. Even NYLT, which is designed to teach you to lead your troop, makes you ditch the "I love my troop!" mentalitity and makes you realize that because you apply yourself in scouting you are someone who is deserving of the honors offered to you. You don't "put your name in for OA". It's automatically on the ballot if you show up to troop meetings. The troop elects you, not the OA representatives, not the OA. You join the OA, not on your own decision "for teh lulz" but because your troop wants to honor you, to put you into an organization catered to people who have risen above the rest and, I'm sorry, basically need something to make scouting worth their time.

>>76098 I think it is best that for now we fill the 23 slots just so we have the back-up of having 23 valid players.
Then having a poll on say 30-40 suggestions and the top 23 options get chosen.
Then all will be well I guess

We're provisional and we still have a lot of time to get ready for Autumn.

Once you are elected, you have one year to complete your ordeal or let your nomination expire. You aren't an arrowman once you get elected, but you clearly don't know that. for someone so involved with his troop, you clearly haven't been paying attention to how the OA functions. (assuming your troop has an OA rep, he should be updating all arrowmen and eligibile scouts on recent OA happenings. )

If you want to do some good, do good. Don't give money to people who spend it on wages and advertising. What is: Bypass the SGKF and go directly to a local cancer research facility's fund.
What is: Paying for a researchers supplies instead of dealing with the dip and take attitude of modern charities.
What is: Your running out of hay to stuff all these strawmen.
>The logo, the songs, the names, the kits, the faces, the shit you think is totally unimportant. >/m/ >Expecting /m/, a board that has a hard time appealing to anyone, to be able to create a culture that can save itself from becoming irrelevant babby material when they lose. Hell, /b/ can't even keep its team appeal together. Few boards can, because they're drowning in culture and inside jokes. /pol/ can, because you make jew jokes and have a player who looks like Hitler. /out/ does not have that ability, no matter how general we try to make our player names and logos, we will become plebian tier when we start loosing. We have no novelty effect and it's useless to prioritize or attempt to make it the whole board's business with something most people here won't even care about.

Now, I'm not that guy, but what are you shit-talking /m/ for? They have a solid team and culture, and the the board appeals just fine to its users obviously. It might be a slow board, but so are we.
