For me, it's easier to carry and eat. I can stash the bars in any one of a dozen places & eat it with one hand as opposed to having a large bag of loose pieces that can spill, etc.

Thats what asked myself. But then i didn't know what GORP means.

Eventually i remembered that it means 'good old raisins and peanuts'.

I'm a big fan of pic related when I'm running around in the hot sun all day and can't eat a real meal. Fuck paying $3 for them though, I only eat them if I get em for free.

Also a good midnight snack. The fill me up so I might eat one of these instead of a whole pack of Oreos.

Nature Valley has 190 calorie bars with 10 grams of protein.
Literally put 40 of them in my pack(they all fit into one pocket).

God bless nature valley. Probably 10 times the space conservation as those camp meals you add water too for the same amount of energy.
