ITT: Bushcraft/innawoods cooking thread FUCK YEAH
Discuss recipes, cooking methods, your favorite flora to forage for, etc.
Pic related. This weekend I'm going to attempt to hunt and cook my first rabbit. I've never done it before, but I've been watching tons of videos about how to properly gut and skin them and I'm pretty confident that I won't fuck it up too badly.
My plan is to make a peppercorn rub for the meat, spit roast it over a fire, and then make a stew out of it with some chicken stock, dehydrated potatoes, and whatever else I can forage for. Maybe some fiddleheads if I can find them, although I think it still might be a bit early for them.
