>>784142Wear I live, it gets that hot too, but the humidity is around 85% to 95%. The sweat on your body doesn't evaporate properly People overheat and die from it every year.
West coast has dry pussy heat.
>>784138Don't hike during the hottest parts of the day (2pm-3pm). Hike in the shade. When the sun is low it strikes your entire body, when it is overhead there's less sun hitting your body. Wear a big hat. In most humid places the worst humidity, during the day, but lowest temps will be in the morning.
In a place of high humidity you won't be able to drink enough water to keep you cool because your sweat isn't cooling you off since it can't evaporate correctly. You can end up drinking too much water. Areas with lush vegetation will be cooler, areas with water will be cooler, areas in low valleys will be cooler. The best place to hike would be along a tree-shaded river as it will be the coolest place. Hiking in early morning or late evening will be best; when the sun is blocked by hills, if there are hills. The temps will be lowest then.
Eat cold/cool foods. Take breaks. Take advantage of the wind when it blows. Your cheeks should not be flushed, if they are, pour some water over your head, sit down, and cool the fuck off.
