yo - looking to buy a decent knife but im a noob when it comes to which manufacturers i can trust for quality and reliability etc
can u recommend some knives pls !

Buy a mora, they aren't the flashiest but they cost about £11 so it doesn't matter what you do with it.

If you rant something fancier get a bk2 or bk22 (same knife different sheath)

my only other advice is don't go too big with your first knife. Everyone does it then realises smaller knives are easier to use

Mora are good, but the tang isn't stout, so there's a "chance" (however small that may be) of the handle breaking

Thick, full tang bush knives are probably the best overall for a general camping knife that can do it all. 5-6 inch blade is the best, as you have more to work with compared to the shorter blades, and when in da woods, the extra inch or two doesn't matter as it's not meant to be concealed.
