>>792614If we're going to do one ups with National level BSA Camps I think Double H tops the list. It only ran a few years as an overflow camp for Philmont, but it was a great program. You show up. They give you supplies, map, compass, gps and instructions to show up at an outpost in 4 days for food and a couple other programs. No trails, not much in the way of an itinerary other than when you did resupply. Just you, your friends and the New Mexico Desert. You did have a guide but they were pretty much just there to carry a radio in case of an emergency.
