Pack thread. I'm aware there are others but they are about ALICE packs/externals specifically.
After my last hike my aching shoulders have convinced me to spend some money and get a good internal frame pack. Main use will be trips ranging from one night to a full week, mostly in the southern US (Florida and Georgia). This climate doesn't require that much in the way of cold weather gear, so I assume I only need something like 50L or so. I understand that Osprey is a very popular brand, but I was wondering if I could do any better for my money. Unfortunately there aren't any dedicated outdoors stores around here so I don't really have an opportunity to try any packs on. I do have a nearby Sports Authority, but the website looks like they only carry "High Sierra," a brand I've never heard of before.
Budget is about $200, though I'd be thrilled to spend less. Here's a couple I've found so far:

Also, if my sizing is off a little please let me know. I'm kind of just going by conventional wisdom on the 50L thing; if I can get by on 35L or whatever that would be awesome.
