I've heard that mimicking bird calls especially digitally can really fuck up some birds. If you do it near their nest they could abandon their nest, thinking another bird has taken the territory

no dude. birds don't always stay around their nests. pretty sure they are well hidden mostly.

and besides, the most threatening birds such as hawks don't even fuck with other birds because most of they are more agile. and they second most threatening birds like crows often just get teamed up on by other smaller birds anyways.
