>>813807It kinda depends on the tree, some require special attention because not every tree is easy to cut from.
Anyway basically just make a clean diagonal cut, cut of some bark on the end too to allow roots to grow and dip the end in cutting powder if you have any, that will encourage roots to grow.
Then stick it in the ground and put it in a balanced environment with not too much sun and not too dry but not too wet either.
A glas planter box helps keep some of the moisture inside but be careful as you don't want fungus and mold to appear so it needs fresh air too.
Just try some things, always make more cuttings than you think you need.
I'm no expert but I'm working on a few trees that I made from cuttings.
