Do the Shimano Sellus rods come in a size you like? I was lookin at some of those for a spinning combo, and they are a little heavy for a medium weight, but pretty fast action and only $60. Would be good for a baitcaster.
Fenwick Eagles are a popular one for $50-$60, but I have a medium weight spinning one of those and if I did one for a baitcaster, I would probably go MH since they aren't real fast or stiff.
Otherwise Berkley Lightning Rods for $40. They are my favorite cheaper rods lately. I like em much better than Ugly Stiks.
