I was thinking of buying either the Alder Stream or L.L. Bean canvas rucksack, but then i came across this nylon Condor pack for $79.

Now I'm not sure if i can justify buying an expensive canvas rucksack unless it's significantly better. So how does waxed canvas compare to 1000-Denier nylon?
This L.L. Bean rucksack has both the style i like and is reasonably priced. But it's made from 1000-Denier "Kodra" nylon. Is it any good?
