The truth is the Earth fluctuates. Like Siberia has permafrost now, that used to be North America. There was a polar shift, NA thawed, Siberia froze. By the evidence of the recent mammoth find it was quite sudden and violent.
The mammoth was found to have undigested flowers that only grow in a temperate region in it's stomach. Also, both it's hips were broken as if it were hit with a shock wave and killed and frozen, completely through, instantly. Do you understand the implication? It has to be pretty fucking cold to freeze a mammoth through, all at once, before the bacteria in the stomach can break down the flowers that were just growing on a summer day.
