During the last year, I have been spending more and more time outdoors, hiking, exploring forests, crossing rivers etc.
So far my "adventures" haven't been particularly eventful or dangerous or anything, they are, at most, about 16 hours or so, from the very first light till sunrise
What I wanted to ask you is what are things that I (and, everyone else who is new to this) should definitely know? Common mistakes people (or you) have made that could have been avoided, what not to do and what I should do correctly. While /out/ I also really like to photograph things, my camera is one of the things that have made me go out more actively.
Anyways, please post anything I should know. I am planning of doing a longer trip during the following months, about 3 days or so.
