newfag here, been taking day hikes for weight loss and shit and been considering overnight camping/weekend whatnot. total beta so looking for single person cuz no friends/grill.

i'm midwest so venting for heat is a plus but also something for snow and cold weather if the mood strikes. i've never bought a tent so i could use some advice. i'm also pretty tall at 6'5"
