Tiger to eagle . OA vigil
My Eagle project was 10,000 man hours. ( we built a out door class room at a local school) my troop wasn't mormon so we did big projects .
Some other eagle projects, we built 4 houses ( habitat for humanity) built a playground , built a park.
We did Philmont every year. Snow camped, did a 50 mile anual bike ride through death Valley , did primitive camping, backpacked the most of the western national parks
I learned how to shoot, fly an airplane, sail, ski, climb, ride horses, first aid ( which we used all the time on other hikers, I remember saving a guy in Utah after he fell , free climbing, broke his legs and arms in the fall, his climbing partner was a 120lb woman. We splinted him, put a cervical brace on him ( 3 of our leaders were doctors and always had medical bags) and hiked out on a makeshift back board for 8 miles until we could get a cell signal, then an additional 2 miles to the ambulance. )
Hell I even lost my virginity in the scouts, at summer camp to an Australian girl.
