This could be things like maintaining/improving health, stimulating thought for thinking clearly, familiarizing yourself with yur surroundings, but perhaps the most important one is just for your own pleasure. If these aren't enough, find something to do once you arrive at your destination. If you are artistically inclined, maybe you must sketch your surroundings on arrival or take pictures at the location. You could go there for a picnic spot. You could be going on a hike to help familiarize yourself with local plants and animals. I don't know where you live, but I don't know of any culture that thinks that you have to be going somewhere when you go out for a walk. At the very least, assuming you maybe have friends (or at least someone who doesn't hate you), maybe try walking to their house or whatever. Just go outside. I don't know what you expected to hear other than this.
