They're both nice for a day or two trip, but not worth spending a whole lot of time in, particularly if your traveling all the way from Oz (though Jellystone has some 3K mi of back country trails). A better adventure IMHO would be to rent a car, hit Yosemite for a day, and head to Zion and Moab, hit Jellystone for a day, and finish up your trip at Glacier in Montana for a good extended back country hike. Depends how much time you have. Fly back to Oz out of Billings to LAX. If you want to stay in CA, you're going to have to head north, Lassen NP is pretty cool, as is Mt Shasta.
