What kind of pack do you have /out/? Personally I have an osprey atmos ag 65 liter. Since I do longer distance hikes I carry

50 liters is good for 2-3 days but there are things that may affect this:

- Winter equipment takes more space.
- Special gear takes more space (if you like, say, photography).

Other than that, 50 liters is plenty of room!

Im planning on picking up a hill people ute and conner. I figure i can just use the conner as a pocket for longer tripsor for gear i want to keep on my person. Shorter trips just use the conner, medium use the ute and long take both.

Does anyone have experience with a setup like this

I guess a bit of dry food as well and socks and underwear a light t shirt and pants and maybe a sweater.
and there is a thermometer keychain as well. and I think I threw in a good compass somewhere.

I do often carry bear spray and a mora light my fire on my as well a lot of the time.

I find the folding saw and knife can really do 90% of what I need to do with a small axe and so that's the thing I find most expendable but I usually strap it on just to have it.
