So I just moved all my stuff from a mil-tec assault backpack 36l to this one.
Much more comfortable on the back (tarp in inner sleeve) , can get my sleeping back and hammock inside. All my stuff fits nicely in the side pockets (although not as compartmentalised as the assault pack) and the side pockets are not fully sewn, so you can carry an ax/machette between the pocket and the mail body.
Any experience with the German Alpine Ruck?
