Anybody been to some interesting lesser-known hiking spots lately?

I recently went hiking at the Porcupine Mountains in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I was completely shocked how gorgeous the U.P. was. It really felt like a good wilderness experience.

Also I've been reading about Dolly Sodds wilderness in West Virginia lately. Look it up, looks gorgeous.
