Forget who makes it but I get mine from Walmart. It's pretty damn good. Of course I have a expensive pair of insulated and water proof boots so my feet are always warm.

Not a big fan of Darn Tough. The "OMG SO DURABLE" thing is just because they use ridiculously high nylon content. Personal favorite brand is Fits.

sams club has a 3 pack of marino wool socks for around 14-16 dollars. /out/ approved.
30+ years /out/door experience with very few foot problems in just about any kinda conditions you can think of.

You're not thinking double hemispherally. NZ and Aus' stores will be selling off their winter gear now.

Do you guys wear liners? After taking out a single pair of fairly cheap socks yesterday I think I'm just never going to wear boots without liners.

I'm not actually 100% sure how much you could save. But one USD is worth 1.33 AUD and we have a 10% GST that technically you shouldn't have to pay. Our stores may be reluctant to deduct the 10% because their sites may not be set up to do that. Also, things just generally cost more money here so even with those factors stuff could still be not worth importing.

I love my Darn Tough hikers. ~12 pairs total, I've actually (through personal fault, IE fire) destroyed 2 pairs. DT warrantied them both, with a fast turnaround.

Socks with a warranty? Good deal. Comfortable wool socks with a warranty? No brainer.
