Find dirt road every 1 mile in a grid. Walk it to freedom or hitchike. If lazy/broken/hurt can beat att phone box with a rock until it is kill "muh interwebs." People will come.
Half the year you can legit just toss a fucking match on the ground and wait...
All this includes all 4 seasons. Winter could suck if unprepared. But cedar trees are taking over this area and they will burn green as fuck.
Some strange woods may be another story. And not even being cocky i can walk outside and gain weight just foraging the blackberries and snakes around here.
