As you can see, there are many resources out there for people who want to make their own gear. This is an attempt to condense some of that information down, and get some repositories together for MYOGers.

I am working toward making a whole set of gear, but first I have to get the fabric. I just got a sewing machine that belonged to my late grandmother.

I almost didn't start this thread, as I am unaccustomed to posting; I've been a lurker here for a few years, since the board was young. In that time there have been many changes in board culture, but I'd like to try to make this as nice a thread as can be found on 4chan -- so try not to troll. People will be building gear they need to be able to depend on, so don't tell them they can make an awesome backpack out of a trash bag and some duct tape.
