Anybody here use a radio for AM/FM reception and NOAA weather updates or alerts while /out/? I think it'd be a good idea to have one to see what the world is up to, listen to ambient radio crap music or hear what shitty weather is headed my way.

I'm looking for one that has: good reception, is small, AM / FM / Weather band and alerts, takes AAA batteries (my flashlight and headlamp both take AAAs and I'd like to have a commonality for my electronics, but most radios are AA), I'd prefer analog controls and if it were waterproof or resistant that'd be great too...

I've been looking at a few options, and was wondering if anybody has one they like or can make recommendations.
