Interior is pretty much done now, engine installed and running, tires and all that jaz, just needs break lines and lights.

Got the thing for free, man was selling the house it sat behind.
$100 tow job
$3,000 went into rebuilding the engine (machining and...well everything but the carb intake and exhaust is new).
Haven't added up the paint/ wood work/ other odds and ends yet, but probably close to another $1300.

I kept EVERY receipt, I'll add it up oneday.

Hell of a project dude, lookin really god. Got a giggle out of all your sideways pictures. That happens to me all the time and it drives me nuts. Such a pain in the ass hah. Keep the pics coming though. I live in Idaho and I see a lot of old converted vans that end up being off-road mini-campers basically. They look awesome and once I have some money, I'd love to build/repair one and take it for a decent length road trip just National Forest hopping.
