Best inflatable pillow for camping?

Going to Colorado for a week with the doggo
My idea is to take a tent of course as I'll be with the mutt
I'll be taking an inflatable mattress because I can't manage to be comfortable on foam pads or anything

I'd appreciate if anyone could suggest a good inflatable pillow? I've got a fucked up neck from a car wreck a while ago and would prefer something that would make it easier to sleep.

I lay a shemagh over it for texture, like a pillow case, as a stubble beard is very uncomfortable on it. .

Folds down into nothing, and will fit anywhere. Takes 3 breaths to inflate. Most reviews say to not fill it all the way because its more comfortable, but for me, all the way full/firm is way better.

How different are the premiums from the one you have? I planned on just taking a pillow case and putting it over it. I gotta have something with a decent amount of space on it, I hate trying to fight to find that sweet spot on a 9x6" pillow

The difference between the premium, and the one here >>866988 is the premium has a nice covering on it that makes it softer. The other one is really just an rubber inflatable. The premium has several layers that make it much nicer. That way you don't have to carry lay a shemgah on it.

It's pricey but I love mine.

I used to do this, then I got the Sea to Summit inflatable pillow and think that its definitely worth the extra 100g. Had a few hikes where I'd been in pain and straining the next day due to my jacket shifting in the night and thus sleeping on my neck funny.

Also, to defend our-/myself from the tuff campers using there coats: FU, I don't bring "a coat" to sleep on, I sleep in all my clothes. Yes, ALL my clothes. I have nothing to spare if it gets cold -- it's all part of the sleep system, plebs.

My Exped pillow is 60 grams. My jacket is 600 grams. I keep it on, adding warmth and insulation, instead of wasting it for a pillow.

I think I also have a sea to summit. Id check but its packed up and im just taking a break from my projects. Its way more comfy and frankly, it packs up to the size of my fist and I cant notice that small of a weight difference.

Definitely worth it. Rolled jacket made me wake up sore and poorly rested almost always. If I carried a puffy maybe it would be different, but I dont.

so you have a shit bag then. Get something that isn't from walmart. My 200 dollar base layer and 400 dollar quilt from EE keeps me plenty warm, no matter the temp.

I usually fill my 10L drybag with clothes when its an overnight or no room for a roll up pillow/not car camping

One of the sea-to-summit evac bags, not the rubber material like seal-line dry bags

Otherwise I take one of these, I received 2 "free" from Moosejaw rewards; they are comfy but take up as much space as my tent when rolled up

A nice luxury item but clothes pillow is the most practical if rucksack capacity is an issue
