I've got a bunch of old gear I could stand to part with. Sold one of my old riding jackets a few months ago.

I'll stick with ebay for most of it, craigslist for the big shit I don't want to ship.

I would be very interested in this. I work at a shelter that can't use some of the things we get in. I'd rather see it go to good use than rot in storage. Last time I gave my sister in law a bunch of travel bowls and harnesses, she still hasn't touched them.

I do not ride. Here is a picture of one. Two things I would say about this picture: you'd need practice to get it down this snug and I'm not sure if it could even be done with the foam mattress inside. I think you'd need an inflatable to realistically do it.
The tent part weighs a few kgs, I don't think it would be great for hiking.
