Sup sc/out/s

I've been doing a lot of pondering over the fact that Gerber's Bear Grylls series of knives have been getting such a bad rep (especially from /k/).
Now i share your opinion when it comes to Bear, i like watching his show, but it cannot even compare to Ray Mears' Bushcraft (for instance). Yet people think that Gerber made knives are shit because of it.

I didn't want to kick myself in the teeth to hard, so i bought a gerber bear grylls compact scout. It just came today, and i plan to EDC it and take it on a camping trip in two weeks time. I really want to test its potential and see if i can put an end to the hate-train.
