How do you sc/out/s separate all your gear in your packs?

Recently did my first real hiking trip (kek lol i am new yep) for 4 days.

The kelty redwing 50 pack was comfortable, but all my shit basically got jumbled up in the main compartment. Clean/dirty/wet clothes, cooking stuff, sleeping bag/pad etc...

What's the best way to organise and divide all this shit? Are these ikea packing bag sets stupid?
